Education Title

Seattle Audubon inspires people of all ages to learn about and enjoy birds and the natural environment. Our education programs provide hands-on opportunities for students, adults and families to satisfy their curiosity and improve their observation skills and appreciation.

Finding Urban Nature (FUN)
Helping elementary school kids explore and appreciate nature on their own school grounds.

WINGS Middle School Program (postponed 2004/2005 school year)
Providing students with real connections to the environment, allowing them to discover how nature and science are woven together.

Bird Watch Teen Naturalist Program
High school students enjoying and protecting the natural world through science, service, exploration and experience.

Kits and Educator Resources
Promoting hands-on exploration through science and nature kits. Available to classrooms, homes or groups.

Nature Camp
Offering fun and educational summer programs where children and teens can learn about nature in a challenging and caring environment.

Family Programs
Providing stimulating and fun programming about Birds and Nature in an informal, hands-on setting.

Classes
A rich selection of birding and natural history classes for adults, taught by engaging and qualified instructors.
