Education Kits - Birds in our Community

Get to know your feathered neighbors!

This kit is a perfect way to introduce the wonders of our feathered friends to any beginner birder or someone interested in learning more about them. Packed with various activities that cover concepts like beak shapes, calls and songs, and the perils of migration, the kit provides activities for younger and older bird enthusiasts. The program guide offers background information as well as lessons that are easy to follow for any novice educator.

Other contents include:

* Bird Skin Specimens - Real birds that have been preserved and stuffed with cotton allow children and adults an opportunity to touch a real bird and observe them up close.

* Binoculars - Six beginner binoculars with common local bird lists to aid in neighborhood bird walks.

* Story books and field guides

* Games, activities, and discussion materials

   

   

 

 

Pricing: $35 per week, $10 each additional week (3 week maximum)
