Adult Classes

Seattle Audubon offers educational opportunities for individuals and families. A variety of classes on birding and natural history are taught throughout the year by qualified instructors who are experts in their respective fields.

Seattle Audubon also offers a Master Birder Program, a two-year education-for-service program focusing on the identification and natural history of Washington's birds. Since 1988, Seattle Audubon has graduated exceptional classes of Master Birders. After passing an entrance exam, individuals complete two intensive years of study of Northwest birds. These highly qualified bird experts provide invaluable leadership throughout Seattle Audubon and the community.
