Neighborhood Bird Walks
Experienced birders lead these guided walks through Seattle birding hotspots, making them a great introduction to local birds. No birding experience is necessary and families are welcome. You can even contact the leader beforehand to borrow binoculars! Visit the Neighborhood Bird Walks page for more information about upcoming walks.
Resources

Seattle Aububon offers two downloadable resources for anyone interested in teaching children about birds. Seattle is for the Birds is an activity book that can double as a simple field guide--it features 27 species of local birds! Meanwhile, Sharing Birds with Young People offers tips for birdwatching with children.
