The application period for the 2012-2013 Master Birder class is now closed!! Notice of the next class will be posted when scheduled.
To apply for the Master Birder program, you must complete an application form (Word.doc) and take a short birding quiz, identifying some Washington birds from slides and from song.

In the mean time...
Resources for prospective students - Considering the intensive nature of the program, a certain level of familiarity with the birds of our state is required for interested applicants. Most Master Birder applicants should be able to recognize about 80-100 Washington State birds by sight (and identify most of the rest to family) and at least 20 by song.
