"High quality staff, well developed curriculum, field trips, and great location."
- Camp parent
Nature campers are taught by caring adult Naturalists assisted by dedicated volunteers. All Nature Camp staff Naturalists are college graduates and some are currently working towards their master's degree. Naturalists are selected based on their experience with working with youth, their background in environmental eduation and natural science, and their outstanding character. Our staff receives rigorous training, and are at least First Aid/CPR certified. Each staff member is given a national or Washington State Patrol background screening.
Camp Sessions
We offer a variety of sessions for every age:
Field Groups
Day campers work in small field groups, grouped by grade level, with its own designated space for daily activities. Occassionally, children will be in split grade groups, i.e., 1st/2nd grade. Campers can be grouped with their buddies, but we do encourage campers to meet and make new friends! Field groups include 10-12 campers with one Staff Naturalist and one Junior Naturalist
