LOCATION, CAMP HOURS, FIELD TRIPS

Great Location

Nature Camp is based at Magnuson Park, a 300+ acre Seattle park on Sand Point Way NE. With a mile of lake shoreline, a variety of habitats, grassy playfields and convenient access, Magnuson is the ideal place for fun summer learning.

Convenient Camp Hours

Weekly sessions run Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:30pm. Extended care is offered through the University YMCA, which is located in the same building as Nature Camp. We will pick your child up at 9 am for Nature Camp, and drop them off at 3:30 pm at YMCA if they are registered for extended care.  Please contact University YMCA for more information at 206.524.1400.

Field Trips

Campers will go on field trip on Tuesdays and Thursdays to other city parks, to diversfy their outdoor experience at Nature Camp. We will visit Seward Park, Carkeek Park, Lincoln Park, the WA State Arboretum, and Cougar Mountain depending on what the session theme is for that week.  Students will ride chartered First Student school buses to these locations.
