OVERVIEW
From October 2009 through April 2010, 427 surveys were conducted at 68 survey sites (Island, King, Pierce, Snohomish, Kitsap and Thurston counties) with density data collected on 51 species of near-shore birds. This represents 161.54 hours of survey time and 297.34 volunteer hours (or 440 based on estimates of time spent traveling to and from survey sites).
