A Birder’s Guide to Washington, 1st Ed. CLOSEOUT

A Birder’s Guide to Washington, 1st Ed. CLOSEOUT
Released in the fall of 2003, this is the definitive book on where to bird in Washington state. Organized by region with contributions by expert birders from around the state. Each identified site includes a wonderful description of the site, particular notes for birding the site (“You must bird from the busy highway. Even so . . . “), a list of what you are likely to see and when, and, of course, directions accompanied by excellent maps. End matter includes bar graphs for east and west parts of the state, an annotated checklist that includes mammals, butterflies and dragonflies and a complete index.
